At the beginning of 1900, the vineyard planted its first vines, some of which are still in production at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail.

1934: construction of the winery on the current site of the Estate.

1980: creation of the Domaine "Les Chênes Blancs" (named after the great oaks of Provence present around the Estate) and first bottling.

Today, the estate comprises 10 hectares located on 5 of the main terroirs of Gigondas and 2 ha in the neighbouring communes. In the vineyard, we practice sustainable agriculture.

We also respect the goblet pruning of vines, the traditional pruning of our region and our latitudes.

In the winery, the harvest, which is exclusively by hand, is vinified whole in raw concrete vats.

The macerations are rather long (4 to 5 weeks) where the extraction of the colours and aromas comes from simple mechanical processes (pumping over, shedding) decided at the key stages. Traditional vertical pressing is very gentle.

The wines are then aged for 18 months in vats and partly in wood, then they decant naturally before being bottled. We offer 1 to 2 red Gigondas each year, selecting the best vintages.
